Jeff and crew drove to Wisconsin to do some work on our house. As he
was introducing me to the crew the first time, he said, "this is
Ismarel.". Later I was asking everyone their names and "Ismarel"
introduced himself as "Ismael", with no "r". I said, "I thought your
name was Ismarel." to which Ismael replied that was wrong. So I turned
to Jeff and asked why he was calling someone he had been working with
for 20 years the wrong name. He replied, "well I had already been
calling him Ismarel for 10 years before he told that wasn't his name,
but by then it was too late. He was Ismarel to me and I couldn't change
it. We had a good laugh over that.
