The dump

Believe it or not one of Ethan’s favorite recent memories of Papa was when he took him and Austin on a trip to the dump.  Ethan, like his Papa, is a really good worker.  He isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty or work doing all sorts of crazy stuff and with Papa sometimes there is crazy stuff.  That particular day, Papa had a trailer full of mats, carpets and wooden boards.  They went to the dump and threw them off of the trailer.  While Papa was lifting a few of the items he and Austin couldn’t lift, they got down out off the trailer and poked around at some of the items that people had dumped.  To Ethan’s amazement, one man’s trash is truly another man’s treasure!  He found a phone, a big wooden clock and a watch.  I’m not sure how his mom feels about them digging around in the trash, but it’s a little too late now! J Either way, it made an impression on Ethan.
